Video Programming Coordinator

This position contributes to the mission of Oak Hills Church (OHC) to be disciples who make disciples by guiding all people to follow Jesus moment by moment. The staff member is responsible for project and production coordination of video assignments as well as providing creative support for the Creative Team.


  1. Directs and creates inspiring and informative videos for all ministries to include podcast, resource videos, live video service, and training videos.
  2. Collaborates with various ministries in planning, creating, and executing content for creative series videos. Provides guidance, helps with scripting verbal cues, and adjustments as needed.
  3. Schedules, and coordinates all media resources to support creative studio to include talent, script, set design, A/V, video, lights, graphics, etc. as needed.
  4. Ensures adherence to process control and deadlines.
  5. Plans, develops, and implements creative studio set changes to compliment projects for live and post video content.
  6. Serves as Live Director for online services. Manages live online production room schedule, set changes and hosting volunteers. Ensures volunteers are equipped and empowered to serve.
  7. Prepares and assists in leading weekly debriefing meeting. Prepares and sends weekly creative production email.
  8. Presents ideas for future series or projects to Creative Minister.
  9. Participates in team and church-wide staff meetings, initiatives, and special projects. Engages in the creation and planning of content.
  10. Provides administrative support as needed such as processing reimbursement receipts, preparing reports and composing correspondence, conducting research, and implementing social events.
  11. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Broadcast or related field.
  2. Two (2) years of organizing, scheduling, and setting up live/post-production shoots. Prior experience in large organization production preferred.
  3. Experience can substitute for education.
  4. Current Texas driver’s license (Incumbents with out-of-state license must attain Texas license within six (6) months of employment).


  1. Knowledge of live and postproduction techniques, procedures, and industry standard practices.
  2. Knowledge of scheduling for production crew calls.
  3. Knowledge of Planning Center, Asana, and Blackmagic software.
  4. Knowledge of adobe suite is a preferred.
  5. Knowledge of modern office systems, business letter writing, report preparation, and proper etiquette.
  6. Knowledge of DSLR cameras, Broadcast cameras and studio lights.
  7. Ability to direct live shows as well create live sets for Sundays.
  8. Ability to create deadlines and manage tasks to meet said deadlines.
  9. Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  10. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both verbal and written means.
  11. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, members, and ministry volunteers.
  12. Ability to perform all the physical, intellectual, and analytical requirements of the position including decision making.


Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.
